Micro SD 24/192 & 44.1/16 music released by Bon Jovi

Here is a Bon Jovi album officially released via Askell & Kern I believe (they have MicroSD slots in their portable players) as a Micro SD card with both 44.1/16 and 192/24 version on it according to this image.

Interesting if this takes off at all, possibly quite niche. Available on EBAY USA for $39.99 only place I can see them to buy outside Japan.

Seems a nice idea, but one whose time has already passed. We will be downloading all our media files, but only until we have enough bandwidth to just stream everything over the 'net. It is super-easy for fixed gear with wired connection.

It's already happened for video. Netflix, iTunes, Our "cable-on-demand" option etc means I rarely buy Blurays/DVDs anymore, and have little need to keep copies of files.

And even for portable devices, services like iCloud are making keeping the files on the device at all less and less important.

(And Bon Jovi? WTF?)

The other's they have released are by Jason Mraz, the third a collection, probably all promotional items for their micro SD slots in their portable players.

It is a good idea, but you are correct downloading purchases, streaming via subs, cloud based operations are the way to go it seems.

Yes Bon Jovi, hmmmmm.........
