Just spent two  hours fitting cat 6 to replace the powerlines I wss using. Was it worth the effort?

Strangely enough I think yes, slightly improved claritfy, bass and soundstage. Wether thats because I've removed the powerlines, dressed the cables or wishful thinking I don't know but at least I don't have to worry about it anymore!

Not sure what hifi you have but what you will benefit from is reliability.

And of course assuming you have stopped using the powerlines, your RFI pollution will have dramatically reduced, and that can only be a good thing for hifi.
