They say if they get a corner they do a lap of honour.
You state in your post.....Ex Team, why are they Ex ??
The saying is that during ones time on Planet earth you may change the school you go to,change the job you have, change the car you drive, change the house you live in,even change the wife(often a good idea) but you must NEVER change the team you support.

....and your religion, and these days even your gender.....but, I agree, a true footie fan never changes their football club

Christ it's only a game.
Chris wasn't a footie fan so he wouldn't understand

Correct, but a TRUE supporter will back his team thru the good times AND the bad.
Tell me if i`m wrong but it looks to me like Jota jumped ship when Rangers were relegated 3 divisions.
A close friend of mine is the same, says he supports Palace, but goes to about one game every 2 years. Last year palace get to the plays offs into the premiership with a big game at Wembley and suddenly he wants to go to the game.

Agree Alan. I've supported City since I was a child living in Manchester. When they won the League and European Cup Winners Cup they were heady days but since then there have been more downs than ups, until now, and I'm enjoying it, especially now the other Manchester club has appointed a real clown of a manager.

… "Oooooh, we used to dream of living in a corridor. It would have been a palace to us. We used to live in an old water tank on a rubbish dump. We got woken up every morning to having a load of rotting fish dumped all over us. House? Uh!"
"Oh, when I said house I meant a hole in the ground covered by a piece of twig. It was a house to us."
"We were evicted from our hole in the ground. We had to go and live in the lake!"
"You were lucky to have a lake! There were a hundred and fifty of us living in a small shoebox in the middle of the road."
"Cardboard box?" …

Moyes comes over as a nice guy,but bottom line he is a hard bastard and a nasty piece of work.
I could quote many examples but one i wont forget was a few years back when we were ground sharing at QPR. Our seats were above the dug outs, the ball went out of play and Moyes picked it up. As our player Malbranque went to get the ball off him he just chucked it away. Very sporting.

You obviously know the neighbourhood Chris. You had to be hard to live in Levenshulme.

Or alternatively
My paper says Mata is doubling his wages to £150k per week. He's a good player but goodness me: is the cost of living in Cheshire that much higher that the West End of London?
He's a great player. I thing united have panicked a bit, but I guess they didn't want to risk loosing him. Chelsea get 37 million for a player they didn't want.
Moyes's reaction to united not doing very well doesn't look like a man under pressure from within. He almost seems relaxed about it. I think Moyes and the club realise the fault lies with the club not buying a handful of top notch players in the summer.
You do realise that Sky Sports News involves just regurgitating what the newspapers' internet and/or Twitter feeds said a few hours ago. United refused to sanction the medical until Chelski signed off the deal in principle.
It is though subject to the medical and agreeing personal terms - so not yet a done deal - but hopefully soon

If he was paid that little at Chelski then that was virtual servitude

Stop it - I'm still contemplating - Anderson out and Mata in - that'll do for me tonight
Just seen in the Daily mail that Man U are now selling table lamps.......They look good placed in the middle of the table.

I assume you mean
Were you reading an old newpaper in the library - if you have only just seen that one

Thats a good idea, would save me a few bob. No i`m about 3 days behind with my reading and paperwork at the moment.
Am i correct in thinking there is a whole mob of you Man U supporters on the south coast, and that for every home game you hire a clapped out minibus, all pile in and off you go? stopping at Moto services on the M6 for a bacon sarny. Thats got to be a round trip of 500+ miles. Presume you share the driving!!
Not my idea of a fun day out.
Mista h
Not exactly
For home games we usually have at least a 53 seat luxury (i.e. with toilet) coach that starts from Weymouth with pick up points in Dorchester, Poole, Bournemouth etc
When we have too many people for the coach we lay on additional transport including on occasions hiring new self-drive 17 seat minibuses - and I sometimes drive
Like this?
