no broadband

hi all, i am moving house next week and BT have decided they cannot connect us up until Feb 24th, as its also a new build.

The problem is that all my music and movies is on my NAS, how can i still stream?

i have some spare routers from sky, is it possible to just use one as a switch and still be able to stream to my qute or TV without any external broadband/phone connection?

The short answer to your question is yes. as long as your streamer and NAS are connected to the powered router ie. you have an internal network, you will be able to stream. It goes without saying that internet radio will be a"no go" however

yes the NAS,tv,qute would all be connected to the router.

Actually if it's a new build I hope you have lots of ducting so that you can put in whatever cable is needed in the future.
