Unitiserve Database Rebuild

My question is simple, I hope. Powered the Unitiserve (not SSD) off by the front button and now it say "building database, DO NOT TURN OFF" How long should this take? its been going for over an hour now. Any help would be much appreciated.

Morning,

Just for the record......Still updating at 9.00pm, so turned everything off on network including Nas. Powered Unitiserve down by front button and powered back up again. All ok on boot up and the starts to rebuild data base. Went to bed at 10.00 still rebuilding database. Come down stairs at 1.30am and database has been rebuilt, so it would appear for 800 cd's and a raft of stuff in download section 3 hours plus

I wonder why it felt the need though, presumably you have it backed up.

Yep garyi, backed it all up. Although its the first time its been powered down since I transferred all my CD's from a backup. Long story but basically first US I bought last April broke, HD knackered.. Naim replaced US with new one before xmas.
