Speaker and cable choice for Unitilite

OK, so now I have my Unitilite all set up and working and all I need to do now is choose some speakers and cables. It's taken my old and previously dull, low-end Tannoys and belted them with a thick leather strap to wake them up.....and they really have woken up. I can't wait to find out what this thing can do with a real pair!

I'd be most grateful to hear your preferences and why.

I need a smallish-room speaker that will deliver a rich but true rendition of my classical collection, at low and high volume, satisfy my wife's appalling taste in American rock, bang out a good dance tune and sing a beautiful voice, enough to make you cry. Not overly bassy or too sharp. Oh, and I have a grand to spend, including stands and cables.

Not asking for much then!
