Hi everybody,
Just bought a HDX-SSd with version 1.7-sp1.
I installed the unit and the software n-Serve software on the MacPro in my network.
Started up the n-Serve software and added a network share.
The HDX-SSD is found and the network share is being scanned.
After a few minutes i see from each album one number and trying to play that number.
But after 2 seconds it stops.
After an hour, still one number of each album is visible and no more then one.
The music are .aiff and should work with the HDD-SSD.
Somebody any idea what's going on?
Network = Airport Extreme + HP switch, all units connected with network cables (CAT 5).
MacPro OSX 10.9.1 Maverick.

How big is your music collection iMad?
I only ask because the first time my Unitiserve scanned my network, it did take quite a few hours.
It seemed that nothing had happened at first with some things showing but not others.
I dont know, but give it a bit of time on the first scan, it could well be OK.
Maybe have a look at the web interface to see if the status colour is orange or green
(if you type the address of your US in the web box, http://nssrxxxxx, whatever yours is).
If orange, its still doing its stuff.
At least thats how mine shows, but I have the HD version, yours could be different I guess.

Thx ChrisH,
The library is 560 GB, at this moment remove n-Serve and download a new version form naimaudio.com a beta version.
I restarted the MacPro and the Beta program n-Serve is now rescanning the Library.
I typed the network address of the HDX-SSd in Safari and seeing a orange light, and the network is still scanning.
Let's wait till the orange light is changed to green.

560GB is a reasonable size to be scanned.
it would definitely take more than a few hours.
Hopefully the statuslight has now changed to green by this morning, iMad, which means scan complete and you should be good to go.
