Which direction

Hi Folks.

Having got my gear (NDX?SuperNait2/Neat Momentum 4i's) up to sensible hours, my mind is wondering towards simple upgrades.

It's been suggested that a HiLine would be the next investment though I have seen some positive reviews on a Tellurium interconnect which suggest that might be the way to go. I can get a HiLine to try but not the Tellurium. I am pleased with the Tellurium Q Black speaker cables in my system.

The other change that has been suggested is to change from standard power leads to Naim PowerLines. I use a Wire World Matrix block along with a Stratus power lead.

I would welcome hearing your experience and opinions please.

Thanks

The cost of two Powerlines is virtually that of a Hicap DR. Two Powerlines and a hiline is the price of a used XPS2. It's worth thinking about.....

Thank you Hungryhalibut.

Your comment is interesting but I'd thought that the power supply step was one to take further down the line and would be enhanced by running the various components with powerlines hence my planed improvements. I feel a rethink coming on!

Good. Get the boxes right first, and worry about wires later.

I use the Tellurium interconnect and i'm very happy with it , i came across one at a good price plugged it in and have never removed it . I can't compare it to a hiline but its a no brainer compared to the standard.

"Oh Magoo, you've done it again!"  ........ Love your avatar.

Hilines are very nice, esp on the digital end. Best value when bought second hand, jump on them.

HH,

I'm not arguing with your general sentiment (hell, this may be an appropriate approach), but is it fair to contrast the price of new PLs and HLs against a used XPS2, when used PLs and HLs are also available?

Or to put it another way, I've not paid full retail cost for PLs or HLs...

I was simply making a point rather than demonstrate fairness. I paid £335 for my Powerline ex dem. So... you can get an exdem hicap DR for the price of three ex-dem Powerlines. Is that better?

Good price for a Powerline :-)
