The purpose of add stations function in vTuner web interface (NaimRadio Guide) is to add stations which are not listed by vTuner. All the station listed are available in your device. If you want to save your favourite stations you can utilize the preset function included in n-Stream (or in remote control). There is room for 40 stations (sometimes that is not enough I know, mine is full).

You are not alone in this issue. There is another recent thread about this matter:

osprey, thanks for your reply,

the problem is that i m searching for some stations that doesn't  listed  in my device, but are listed in vTuner, that's why i m trying to add these stations...for example my device listed 406 stations but the vTuner listed 438 stations, i dont understand why these 32 stations aren't available at my device, also i can't add them with the function of vTuner, because as you said the purpose of NaimRadio Guide is to add stations which are not listed by vTuner.

Ok, I understand. Which stations you are looking for? Give one example and I can try if I can see it in my Uniti.

I did not find these either. However, there is a possibility to include these in the added stations using a work around. This is what I did:

  1. I searched the stations and pressed the green play button. This opened Windows Media Player and station started to play. In the right hand side panel I right clicked the item (under now playing) and selected the properties in order to get the stream address.
  2. I went into vTuner web page and clicked the arrow in the section My Added Stations (above the search).
  3. The following window opens:

Enter the information for the station you would like to add.
The station will be immediately added as one of your favourites.

Station NameImagine 89.7 FM

Desc

Station URLhttp://myradio.naimaudio.com/pls/pls25004.m3u

 (for example,   http://62.168.116.98:8000/dsp1)

LocationThessaloniki Greece

(for example, Canada, Germany, Buenos Aires)

GenreClassic Rock

 (for example, Classical, Dance, Rock)

Type:MP3

Bitrate64K

4. I filled the station info (including the station URL I got from WMP) and pressed the arrow.

5. It appeared in the home page as following:

My   Added Stations

Station Name

Location

Genre

Imagine 89.7 FM

Classic Rock

MP3

Add Another Station

6. It can now be found in the “Added Stations” listing in n-Stream (or using the remote control)

I know this is a bit difficult way to do it but at least you can then listen to these stations through your device. (The URL for Pepper 96.6 FM is http://myradio.naimaudio.com/pls/pls22757.asx)

osprey,  thanks a lot for your time and help!

nevertheless, it is weird why these stations are not listed in my device...

It is a bit weird indeed. Maybe a question to Naim support could be in order… (they might have a chance to do something about this).
