Have now tried 2 copies of Muse Absolution and neither will respond at all, in my computer - yet both play fine in my CDX2 and in my car. Computer cannot recognise the disc at all. No response. Others CD's are fine and will play - inc other Muse CDs..!!

Copy Protected..???  Any info appreciated....

It could be one of a number of things.

1. It is copy protected. I see in certain countries it was copy protected

2. Some WB Euro pressed cd's won't play in a computer because they are not standard redbook    discs. Donny Hathaway discs spring to mind.

3. If you are using Windows Media Player then it has trouble with certain discs.

Depending upon what programme was used for the copy protection you can try pressing the shift key when you put the disc into your cd player but I doubt that it will work with a WB disc.

Possibly depends on the pressing plant.
