Kate Bush Tickets
Posted by: blorbed on 26 March 2014
Happy days!
Managed to secure my Kate Bush tickets this morning for the 13 September at the Hammersmith Apollo. Kate Bush and Talking Heads were two acts I'd always regretted not seeing live.
Hopefully it'll be a great show and we should have a reasonable view, nine rows from front.
I guess I shouldn't be wishing summer away though it can't come soon enough!
I take it you're a KB forum member?
I thought about registering there years ago, kicking myself for not doing so.
I love love love her work.

That's right, more by chance than anything else. Xmas 2012 I was looking for a gift for someone, as it happens she's a big Kate Bush fan, so I thought I'd check out her website for any unusual merchandise. I purchased a long sleeved shirt, and of course had to register to do so. Five days ago I received an e-mail informing me of the fan pre-sale for tickets.
Its now turned into a surprise gift for her fiftieth, and of course I get to accompany her!
They go on general sale 9:30am Friday, hope you're successful if you're after some.
Do you mind me asking what price tickets are please?
Row B tickets for me secured this morning. Should be great.
Thanks Richard. It was pure luck being registered on the Kate Bush site. Best of luck on Friday, be quick and ready for the morning start!
Extra dates added today.
Devastated.
110,000 tickets sold out in under 15 minutes. Not even single seats available.
I had tickets but on verification, Kaspersky Moneysafe threw Ticketmaster into a spin.
Speachless. Touts should be birched.
They're always like that nowadays for anyone worthwhile seeing. I had Bob Dylan tickets in my basket, went through to the paying process and ended up saying "sorry these are not available". It's a joke.
Kate Bush venue is very small and was always going to go quick.
Good news for those who didn't manage to get any tickets, she's just announced 7 new London dates, with gigs in 2049, 2084, 2119, 2154, 2189, 2224, and 2259.
Thanks to an *extremely* kind Young Man I'm going to see the second gig, IN ROW G
Happy, happy, happy!
No luck for me
Unless any of you would like a nice Naim Forum couple to join you?

I see that the scumbags on GetMeIn, Viagogo etc are selling tickets already for £1,000 . Pretty disgusting - I hope they all get voided.
I was unlucky, but hey ho - no way am I giving those cnuts my money.
I wonder how many tickets Ticketmaster "bought" to sell via its subsidiary GetMeIn? (Cough)
My brother, a long time fan club member, scored 4 tickets for Saturday the 30th, so I'll be flying back from the U.S. to see it (with my 3 siblings). Unbelievable! Something to tell the grandkids.
Makes me realise how lucky I have been to get 2 tickets for the second night on Wednesday, mind you I almost lost out as kept being timed out it took 4 attempts before I got them, all very stressful!! but this has made my year. Really sorry for you guys that missed out!!, I would normally be in the same camp but was just lucky this time around I guess, really pleased I joined her fan club a couple of years ago. A good friend of mine is going the night before me and got tickets through the fan club also, she has front row seats, so a wee bit of green eye but hay I am just so pleased to be going, but good to hear at least some of her real fans will be going.
Well I tried and tried on all three ticket selling websites and am absolutely gutted that I was unsuccessful in getting any tickets as a genuine fan. It was plain to me that none of the websites could cope with the volumes which led to huge frustration. In this respect the likes of ticketmaster have a lot to learn from the airlines with their real time booking engines...
At one point I managed to get as far as having 2x £448 each VIP tickets in my shopping cart but in the end I just couldn't justify such ludicrous expense even for Kate who remains one of my favourite artists of all time and whose first album is certainly in my top 5 albums of all time.
Congratulations to those who did manage to secure tickets. I was registered on fish people but using an old email address - most frustrating!
The touts and prospectors disgust me and I hope she voids every one!
