Naim Radio

Since owning my SuperUniti, the majority of my listening has been Radio Paradise, which I must say is an outstanding station with very high quality sound.

That said, I've recently been listening to the Naim 320 K stream, and the sound quality there is even better. I actually find the sound quality to be quite astonishing given the bitrate limitation. It's also a great palate cleanser when none of the music that typically appeals is doing it for me.

Re the above... should have specified... the majority of my Internet Radio listening.

Me too ZHB, those 2 stations are typically the only ones I listen to via Internet Radio on my SU.

Maybe Radio 4 occasionally too.

But I really find I do struggle to listen to lower bit rate stations, even if I like the content.

They just arent enjoyable somehow.

I definitely cannot even go there if it's anything less than 320. Spoiled!

I have really enjoyed Radio Paradise, the owner is really nice and selection incredible.  I get a grin on my face when I hear something from long ago that I had.  When friends are over they're amazed at the variety and never irritating music that goes to jazz, 50s-60s, world and current.  Then I have to tell them they'd need a new piece of equipment and their enthusiasm vanishes.  I get such pleasure out of no commercials and the quality of music I send them $5/mo.

Most of those people say go to pandora on the TV, NAH! variety is the key and a human selecting it.

I also contribute $5 to Radio Paradise regularly. There is no station that compares to it. I'm not so young and I tend to listen to the music I grew up with, but thanks to Radio Paradise I discovered a lot of modern bands I actually like and bought their albums.

I even thanked them for the music in the "Thanks" section of my last novel

I discovered Naim Radio & Radio Paradise recently. The sound is excellent and noticeable. At the moment I'm only using the iMAC. Using the SU,wow. I just listened to Molyvos by John van der Veer. I can't wait to own some Naim Amps again
