Hi Paul,
Paradise is my fave too but I get it at only 192Kbps. Where do you get your 320K signal from please?

RP 128 k AAC feed is pretty good though, another "user".

Last time I did a comparison I reckoned the 128kbps feed from Radio Paradise sounded better than the 192kbps MP3 feed.

Dandelion Radio; I listen to this station a lot, it's great for new and unusual stuff, being as it is inspired by John Peel.

Technicolor web of sound; If you like listening to psychedelic stuff from the 60's, then this is the place to go.

Paul,
I'm pretty sure that it's an American site. There's no DJ, just streaming music, complete with a constantly updated playlist and the occasional 60's jingle; for example, a random list just played:
- The Ugly Ducklings - Postman's Fancy
- The Glitterhouse - Child Of Darkness
- The Beatles - Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!
- Rupert's People - I Can Show You
- The Hush - Grey
- Acid Talk - Tune In
- King Crimson - The Great Deceiver
- Mighty Baby - House Without Windows
- Bobak, Jons, Malone - House Of Many Windows
- Jethro Tull - Up The 'Pool
- Love - You'll Be Following
- The Shadows Of Knight - Someone Like Me
- A Handful - Does Anybody Know?
- The Association - All Is Mine
- James Gang - There I Go Again
- The Boston Tea Party - We Have Already Died
- Chocolate Watch Band - Are You Gonna Be There (At The Love-In)
- Jefferson Airplane - Run Around
- Festival Promo - Trips Festival

Are we allowed to recommend the Linn stations?
All of them sound terrific and come through in 320.
You folks have a great one that I am pleased to get here in the states also: Classic FM.
WGBH out of Boston is fantastic too. They have a number of streams and actually have one at 192 that sounds great.
Nice thread.

On a musical basis–KEXP in Seattle. It's a shame that their uncompressed WMA Lossless stream requires Windows Media Player:
http://kexp.org/about/uncompressedstream.asp
as the Uniti family tops out at 320kbps when playing WMA (lossy) files. The standard stream is 128kbps, but is generally encoded fairly well.

Hi Paul,
Would it be possible to put a sticky in the forum with instructions on how to save favourite stations in vtuner? Maybe combine it with your 'Internet Services for Uniti products' post?
Because the firmware updates wipe your settings, I find it useful to set up hard to find stations in this way.
I had to dig back through the forums to find the link to this post.

Thanks,
Tom

I like Purple Radio (192 kbps)
website: http://www.purple-radio.co.uk/
Streaming link: http://stream-3.streamsolutions.co.uk:9062/
It's very eclectic, but often features electronica, and electronic music of all flavours, reggae, soul, experimental, hip hop, downtempo, jazz, and funk.
It has links with the Big Chill forums. So, one for the post acid house heads with broad ears.

@Salmon Dave: KPLU is a pretty good station but isn't their stream quality quite low? Like
64?
Another vote for TSF 89.9 from France. Great sounding 128 kbps , a varying and interesting program and they speak French to you between songs, which being a mono linguistic American, lets me sort of space out and fantasize between songs that I am living abroad (in France, likely) and the sound of the French language is like a little musical break rather than a station break that pulls me out of my musical mood. It
Is my go to Internet radio demonstration station as well.

my god..... nothing but commercials all over most of those links. when not, it is so bad... i cant listen to that on my Naim kit. 64kbps mp3s are unlistenable.
Pandora or lastfm in my car through my iPhone into my stereo (Nakamichi bitches) sounds as good as FM. But in my main gear it is no go. Cant do it.
