Been listening a lot to
- Radio Caroline (very sixties & British!!) and
- Martini In The Morning (very California - I think you need to be recovering from a toga party for this one)
the internet radio that i listen every day is adore jazz on 1.fm
My recent background music comes from this station
The Penthouse presents classic artists like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald,Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Julie London, Bobby Darin, Peggy Leeand Mel Tormé and many more.
We mix in the next generation of top shelf singers - names like Seth MacFarlane, Michael Bublé, Diana Krall, Steve Tyrell, Renee Olstead, Michael Feinstein, Nikki Yanofsky and John Pizzarelli... just to name a few, blend in the best of the New York clubs and cabarets - THEN shake and serve it up live every day!

Thanks so much Sir it's a playin right now :-)
Living in Ireland, mainstream TV and radio is via RTE, which is the irish equivilant of BBC. They provide many stations but one nice ione is RTE GOLD.
They play all the old classics.
I tend to spend my sunday mornings listening to RTE GOLD, with nice coffee and reading the sunday papers, a nice leasurely time
