Sorry for a silly question. What's the difference between DC1 BNC-RCA cable and DC1 RCA-BNC cable. What variant I need to connect HDX with BNC SPDIF OUT to a third-party DAC with RCA SPDIF input?

Directionality. You need the BNC > RCA variant for your application where the HDX is the source.

Yes they do. You have a female BNC socket on the HDX and a female RCA socket on the DAC. The DC1 is Male to Male whichever configuration you have.
