Ticket touts

So i woke up today excited to buy a pair of tickets to see a band called First Aid Kit at the Islington Assembly Rooms. Tickets went on sale at 9am this morning and i was on ticket master at 8.59 refreshing the page. Before i could even buy them the tickets completely sold out!

Not 6 minutes later, people were reselling the tickets at £75+ each! They were only £25 face value!

Just felt the need to vent, as i find this so unfair for genuine fans who have to pay completely over inflated prices to see bands when others are making huge profits!

Scum of the earth. And by that I mean the big corporate businesses who have taken over from the man on the street corner.

There is a site called Scarlet Mist where genuine fans can buy/sell tickets at face value. I've used it once or twice. The problem is that any top shows in demand (for example, Kate Bush) even if they did appear on Scarlet Mist would be bought by touts and sold on at extortionate prices.
