Looks like your beaten with the cubes !! Here is an easy one.

Cubes, a visual puzzle
A number of cubes are arranged in piles on a grid of 5 rows and 11 columns.
How many cubes were used to build the structure in the picture? (cubes cannot float in the air)
Looks like your beaten with the cubes !! Here is an easy one.
My first count shows eight, (excluding the dickie birds which I suppose must also have "faces")
Two cherubs top left; the two main faces (which are facing each other); the face of the person plucking the fruit: The face she is standing on; the face in the tree; and the face in the pond beneath the tree.
But I will have another look tomorrow.
.Well I would hazard 4,100 - but I expect it is wildly wrong because I have missed something really stupid.

Considering the last few puzzles concern observations, you've not been very observant.
Two people have posted that they added 10 to 4090 and 5000 popped into their head, 5000 popped into my head also.
I can only see one Cherub on the left...
I can see a second face looking over the back of the more obvious cherub. The two eyes and the nose are the more noticable features of Donatello the Teenage Mutant Turtle.

Well it was a bit of a pathethic sort of question. But I suppose it made us all think where the "catch" might be..

As I pointed out you didn't observe the fact 2 people had posted that 5000 popped into their head. Including me, that makes 3 people who admitted to getting 5000. 
The point of the question is the extraordinary fact people will come up with the same incorrect answer.

There are simply far too many possibilities for this to be a meaningful question, with a unique solution.

33 x 33 = 1,089. I think the question is trying to trick you into saying 33 x 33 = 36.
The point of the question is the extraordinary fact people will come up with the same incorrect answer.
I did observe that but could not see why that was remarkable, give a group of people a piece of arithmetic and some will get it wrong.
