Hi jech,
Yes, they are very popular all ove the Nordic countries as I often hear their name mentioned in my social circles. I have not heard their latest album though and I don't think I would buy any of their stuff, Cold a play is not my thing...but my wife has a couple of Kent albums.
You may be aware, that Kent is also a name of a county in South-East England, also known as 'The Garden of England' dueto its flatish landscape of chalk, rapeseed and bluebell fields and some famous public houses and gardens and villages. Kent also has the most castles in the UK and theoldest brewery in the UK, apparently, called Sheaperd Neame. It was famous for its a'Kentish Hops' and you can still see the distinctive 'hop house' scattered around the country side and is still growing superb apples. You will be surprised to know that wine is also now produced, in small quantities, in Kent. I have tried some and it's okay to my taste buds, expensive but certainly drinkable.
Perhaps our resident wine merchant, Rodswith, would comment on the contrary
Kent was home to Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, Anne Bolyn and...more recently Lilly Savage.
I hope this was interesting.
Jason.
p.s. I love Stockholm in the Summer
