FIFA World Cup 2014

Posted by: Chris Dolan on 18 May 2014

Atletico Madrid win La Liga and Arsenal sneak the FA Cup. Citeh's money taints the Premiership - sadly.

So who is going to win the FIFA World Cup (sponsored by McDonalds). Is Suarez is going be the top scorer - or would he fail to score with Jordan? Eddie that is

Well it's being held in Brazil - the smell up coffee and wake - imho - what do you guys think?

Well that's two wrong penalty decisions in two games.

Just got home in time to see the Spanish goal but does anyone know why neither team is playing in their traditional colours? For me that's all part of the magic of world cups e.g. the orange shirts of the Netherlands..

What a peach of a goal from Van Persie! Splendid cross from deep, too.

Yes excellent goal!

This half should be a corker.

Not that keen on Robben, but a great goal. Well done the Netherlands.

And more Dutch magic, this time from Robben. They look pretty special, and that's against the current holders.

Oh, and Costa should just have received a red card. Ref must have missed the head butt.

Really enjoying this game.

Have to say they do look smart.

Lucky it wasn't Concrete Ron he butted. I don't think he'd have walked off the pitch.

A third Dutch goal where the keeper is challenged on the cross and found wanting. But almost identical to the one last night which the Japanese ref ruled out, a decision that went against Croatia.   A really good example of the inconsistency of refereeing.

Impressed with Leighton Baines's impersonation of Eddy from the Munsters.

'Taxi for Casillas', as they say on Soccer Am

Oh dear, brilliant game.

What do they never substitute the goalkeeper? That must be the ultimate fail.

Glorious stuff from the Dutch. Robben is rampant!

Posted on: 13 June 2014 by Jasonf

Is that really five? Casilles nerves must be now shot.

They must be checking the strength of the weed in the pot houses of Holland. Can this scoreline be for real?!

And let us not forget, it wasn't even a Spain penalty.

Well that wasn't just a defeat for Spain, it was a humiliating public undressing!

But 'way to go' Holland. The scoreline didn't flatter them at all and it could have been more.

Terrific game.

To say I am a bit stunned wouldn't cover it. Spain were demolished. Holland deserved the win.

Indeed stunning....

We had a great night as I'm Dutch!

That Holland - Spain game was fantastic entertainment. The Dutch in the second half were just brilliant - playing completely without fear. The Spaniards were lackadasical and Van Gaal's men just wanted it much, much more. They could have scored 7 or 8!

Well it proves that our new Spanish striker is just as sh*t as our old Spanish striker.

Well done Holland, good to see Spain taken down a peg.
