N-vi and phono

if i buy a phono pre-amp would this enable me to buy and use a turntable through my n-vi, if so anyone got any suggestions for a resonable priced phono pre-amp and turntable,

john, you might want to post in HiFi corner, you might get a few more responses to the TT/phono question.

I don't think the fact you are using an nVi should make any difference to these choices.
