Control - Remote 2

I've spent an evening playing with Remote 2 and come to some uncomfortable conclusions whilst having a whale of a time listening to music.
It is an absolutely superb bit of software. Quick, intuitive and comprehensive - Internet radio - no fuss cover art - ITunes DJ - and playlists. Listening to ITunes DJ and want to interrupt with a song - no problem....want to search for an artist ... Oh look it works and I timed it less than a second.
Seriously guys ... This app is free .... N-stream ...err it says it is still loading ... You're fired

Just need an iPad/iPod now. The new iPad looks very nice and I think the remote2 would seriously rock my world with itunes on the mini.
So many things I want

You definately need an iPad! *s* I'm sure Mr Jobs would agree with you. The iPad is a terrific device for exactly what you are thinking.
By the way it is not listed as Version 2 in the app store.

If you just want it solely for a Remote, you can buy refurbed 3Gs iPhones all over the place for $50.

I dont pay attention to where, as I am not in the market for one. I just keep hearing radio ads about it every day from more than one retailer.
I know for sure you can buy one from AT&T for $50. Maybe RadioShack. I think in both cases you may need to be an existing AT&T customer.
When i looked on ebay the other day I thought I saw at least 6 Buy-It-Nows for under $100.

When the 3G (not S) first dropped, I knew of plenty of Tmobile people who went and bought one with AT&T with the smallest plan, then instantly cancelled service. The phone + one month service + cancellation fee, were much less that buying the phone outright.
Anyway..... I will keep my ears peeled for any future radio ads. I have heard many.
