Can these things get any worse or more bizarre? Probably. Click.

I rather like this though. Aooww!

There's a few talented acts through to the final, two young male vocal bands in particular. It's not all shite.

The talent might not be all poo but the shows are a waste of time.

And worryingly; seem to attract substantial viewing figures.

I like to think that TV schedulers do the viewing public a disservice. If you are of a certain age, as I am Jim; you will remember 'Come Dancing'. Elegant, stylish and classy entertainment. We now have (or have been given) a ghastly dumbed-down substitute with OTT glittery sets, looking like they are designed to hold the attention span of a five year old.

Chat shows. I quite like Graham Norton as a presenter, but what is with the frenzied whooping when a guest is announced. It is worthy of a er ...... whoop of Gorillas. Does the floor manger hold up a bunch of bananas and a board stating 'Whoop Now'? It is ridiculously artificial.

I think a lot of people will sit down when they have time to relax and simply watch what is showing on the main channels - so accept what they are given. Mind you; zillions of people around the world apparently chose to watch the Eurovision Dross Contest with assorted variations on a theme of 'Bing Bong uber Tiddle, so maybe I'm barking up the wrong Shih Tzu, and we get the TV content we deserve.

I had an evening of TV on Saturday. My goodness it was going downhill in 2003 when i parted with my set, and stopped my Licence.

My surprise was that out of all the free-view channels, I found one interesting programme only [Tony Robinson on horrible historical jobs including making violin strings out of sheep gut] and after that went to sleep!

I am glad that I got shot of the TV years ago, and will never get another.

I can't stand any of the reality talent programmes they all have people with sob stories trying to get the audience to take pitty on them. Oh I'm so sad my dad sat on my hamster and killed it and then my dad had a heart attack and died and my mum left us for the milk man and bla bla bla so glad my gf doesn't like it aswell so it's never on at home. Not that we watch much tv now it's all repeats and rubbish now any way.
