Wat, I agree, although the Hugo seems to have caught the imagination with a performance break through right now, there will be  other devices starting to appear with this new performance level as a baseline.. Things can move quickly,  even in the more niche parts of the consumer electronics market place. The bar has simply been raised... interesting times...

I too am interested to see what Naim respond with... it can only be a matter of time.. Unless regrettably Naim have been wrong footed here, in which case it might take a little longer.. but it will happen sooner or later I'm sure.

Not just the bar has been raised with quality of the sound but also the price is affordable. Naim will have to come up with something special to beat the hugo and for the right price.

Caught NAPing?...

 

I agree that it will happen sooner or later however it's frustrating that some of us were asking for this type/quality level of product for what must have been nearly a couple of years.

 

As it is I see it as a complement to my Naim NDX:SN2 system with which I continue to be very happy.
