HD Tracks has launched, but just in Germany.  HDTracks .de

I've sent an email, as the UK can not buy from there, you get the usual ' region restricted' banner. 30 hours later and still no reply.

So much for the single market EU.

Bored with this high res thing. Once again this country is miles behind others what is the point of having all these great streaming products if you can't buy the files. No wonder people download ilegal copies

I have been able to download some albums from Qobuz, but by no means all. I wasn't able to download a hi-res version of London Grammar's album. I ended up buying the CD locally & ripping it to my NAS.

If you drop them a note via FAQ's telling them you are UK based you should get full access.

Can you buy downloads from Qobuz UK without taking out a subscription?  If you need the subscription then do you have to take out the premium one in order to be able to buy permanent downloads?

Thanks

Try highresaudio.com as well

Yes - I am not a Qobuz subscriber but bought the Doors complete studio albums in 24/96 for about £22.

You can get the new Led Zeppelin albums in high res from Livedownloads.com.

To stream you pay the subscription but to purchase downloads this is not required.  You can register and advise you are UK based to access the downloads library.

You might have to go via the french Qobuz site to buy the downloads - I find the UK site confusing!

Hi Graeme,

I did send an email to Qobuz some time ago, but didn't get a response, although I do still get regular promo emails from them.

I haven't tried purchasing anything from them since my unsuccessful attempt to purchase the London Grammar album (my problems on Qobuz appear to be with UK based artists), so I guess it's about time I tried again.
