DAC on Unitqute2

Can anybody help me? I have a Naim 200/202 Hi Cap fed by a CDX2 and a Magnum Dynalab MD102T (its stunning)

I do feed my satellite and Bluray into the Pre-Amp. The sound isn't that great and I was thinking of getting a DAC, the thought occurs to me that if I were to use get the UnitiQute I could use the DAC on that and get computer plus DAB (which I don't get on the) . My question to the wise and learned forum is how do the DACs in the DACv1 and UnitiQute compare?

I'm now running my UQ (version 1 but I think not that different from version 2) as streamer only via the digital out  into a DAC V1 (110 for amp)) and while the dac in the UQ is very good for all that the UQ does at it's price, the V1 just takes it to another level. I mean really another level. It was suddenly like, oh now there's the bass, and wow the treble doesn't fatigue my ears at all anymore (I have tinnitus), and I've never heard THAT instrument in there before kind of moments. It was a bit like who delivered the SuperUniti when I wasn't looking!

Still getting the proper coaxial cord sorted right now just using an inexpensive Blue Jeans with BNC adapters but have my eye on either a Chord Prodac or a used Voodoo Reference.

Many thanks, I suspected that would be the case.

The dac in the UQ is spot on, I run my UQ as a source into my 72/HiCap/100. TV plugs into the UQ via Toslink. I use my Qute as a digital hub feeding the 72, streaming, TV, internet and FM/Dab radio.

I once owned the dac/v1into 100 feed by the Qute, the 72 system is far better, sold the V1.

buy a Qute, set the volume on the Qute to 75 and feed this into your 202 you will not be disappointed.

Why not do it properly and replace your cdx2 with an ndx/us? An ndx would walk all over a qute.
