I just read the news that according to BBC: "Legendary soul singer and songwriter Bobby Womack, who penned hits for many of the greatest musicians of the 20th Century, has died at the age of 70."
Sad start for the weekend.

Sad sad news. I was extremely lucky to have had the pleasure of seeing him live in concert a number years ago when he was still in his prime. Great gig, one of my all time Top Ten.

This is indeed sad news however, I understand he has been ill for sometime RIP Bobby.

A sad day indeed. I grew listening to Bobby and he has always been one of my favourites. I am currently listening to Across 110th Street and i will continue to play his music throughout the day.
