Hope to see them at Leeds......could be my last opportunity and time?

I loved the Who in my youth. I still regard Quadrophenia and Who's Next as being two of the finest rock albums ever. But I don't think I'll be going to see this 'farewell' tour. After all, sadly, it is now only Pete and Roger, and as much as I still admire Pete's songwriting, I cannot quite accept the Who without Keith and John. I think if you were lucky enough to catch the Who in the original lineup then it's probably better to remember the band as they were then. Put one of the aforementioned albums on (or Live at Leeds) and enjoy the band at their best!

Plus, as great as he was, Roger's voice is nearly shot.  And I agree Clive, especially once "the Ox" died, it was really difficult to think of them as The Who.  Saw them play at halftime at the Super Bowl a few years ago on TV, and it was not so great.

Once of the truly iconic rock acts of all time...I think I would be disappointed with the current tour band were I to see it.

Let go of the past.

I thought the current "Who" were pretty damned good at the concert for Sandy relief. If I had an expectation of hearing Daltrey sing the way he did in the 70's, I'd be disappointed. But I have realistic expectations. These guys are in their 70's now. See them in concert and enjoy them for what they are. Otherwise, spend the money on some Who LPs.

Check out Quadrophenia Live in London and see how that affects your perceived faults in their performance.

I have seen The Who every time they've been to the States over the past ten years, and I cannot agree that "Roger's voice is shot" or that their performance is anything other than top notch.  I saw John's last tour, and I saw their first ever show after his passing.  They were here in Nov. 2012 with the Quadrophenia tour.  (Unless he's rapidly deteriorated since then . . . .)

My wife, like me, is a huge Who fan.  We both enjoyed these shows very much.

I saw The Who perform Quadrophenia  at Wembley Arena last year and they were on mighty fine form.

So much so that I am looking forward to seeing them in Leeds this November....one last time?

First saw them in 67and have seen them a few more times over the years. They usually put on a good show. I once saw Townsend head butt Rabbit on stage that made for an interesting evening.
