No. The audio can be ripped though. Is it an audio disc (or disc containing hires audio files among other things) or a concert you are looking to get the soundtrack from?

There is a new 3 blu-ray disc I want to play. Hi-res 24/192. I thought about ripping to my mac and then transferring it to thumb drive.

Whatever way you can reliably and accurately rip it. Once you have the files there a number of storage options. Your plan sounds like as any.
