Is Unitque support Chinese now?

Yes all Uniti family products have chinese support now but not our hard disk servers, we are reviewing this
but cannot promise. We will hopefully launch our chinese language website later this year.

Thanks Paul, I have numbers of friends waiting for it and this is a good news for us.
I believed that they will back to Naim's family.

I bought the Unitiserv a month ago and very happy with its user friendliness and sound quality. The only disappointment is not supporting Chinese Interface. I have to keep my Apple TV for Chinese songs, very inconvenient.

Yes understood, its not straight forawrd for us but we are looking at it, there are some issues so I cannot promise.

Can anyone tell me how to enable the UQ to read Chinese. Thanks.

hmmm....

Paul, you said "Uniti product" family support Chinese now. Is UnitiServ under the same family tree? Why this poor baby is left behind?

Understand it is not a straight forward move. However, at least it should be planned on the same roadmap. Are they built under the same OS and application architecture?

Uniti family: NaimUniti, UnitiQute, NDX Server family: UnitiServe, HDX, NS0x servers

Hi Paul,

Also I don't understand what do you mean "building a Chinese website". Almost all the digital music playing/ripping software on the market like iTune, Songbird, Cplay, Footbar...etc support Chinese language song information database, some of them are freeware, so there must be a free database for them to access and extract the information.

Where is the bottleneck?

Thanks David for the information!

I don't agree the naming and categorization of these product families.

All Uniti family members have the root "uniti" so as UnitiServ.

The hard disk server family have nothing common in their naming at all.

Paul is refering to the Naim website in Chinese.
It will be good for our Chinese Naim fan community in Canada  too.

A firmware version including Chinese language is available at least for Uniti and UnitiQute, ask for it from your dealer or distributor.

Naim servers will support Chinese in UPnP in next FW release.

Hi, as Paul mentioned the Unitiqute has Chinese language support, is that mean the the song name with Chinese can be display on screen? Also, the n-stream support Chinese language as well? Thanks!

Hi Paul and other Naim engineers,

Any update on Chinese characters support on UnitiServ? We are desperate for it!

With the launch of the new ND5 XS, any luck to see the support of Chinese characters by UnitiServe?

After buying UnitiServe for 2 years, still not supporting Chinese. Anything's wrong with the product or firmware?
