The next gathering for forum members will be held on Friday 13th May in Cringleford on the outskirts of Norwich. It will give you a chance to hear our reference system with NBL's ...so a rare opportunity!
We will commence proceedings at around 11 am and continue throughout the day. Bring your favourite music to play!
Please contact me if you would like to attend if you haven't done so already

Thanks for kind invitation Mike.  And whilst you have assured me that Matron will give me an off games chit if it does prove necessary, I very much hope it will be possible to make it, even if for a short while.

So it's Norwich to Cringleford, that's a TV programme isn't it?

Oh yes, permission granted BTW.

I can't believe how many escape chits I've had this year. I'm really looking forward to this, and I'm even allowed to stay for something to eat! Tony

Another highly enjoyable day yesterday listening to Michael's lovely NBLs, chatting to the hordes of hi-fi folk & eating a lovely lunch.

As usual, time rushed by all too quickly & I even forgot to take a photo! No doubt some will appear here from others present. Nice to meet Dave 'Back From Oz' for the fist time (you're welcome to come over anytime Dave) & catch up with BigH, J.N., DB, Tony L, Julian and FixedWheel (John); the latter two are on an East Anglian "Hi-Fi Grand Tour" & I believe are currently enjoying JWM's system, with a visit later on to Darke Bear & finally to me tomorrow before heading back to Sussex.

Many thanks to Michael and Pam for hosting the event in their lovely home. We definitely need to do this more often!

So much music, so little time...

Seconded. I've been spoiled rotten with top end Naim over the last few months, but it's the people that have made the experiences special. Thanks Michael and Pam.

Another vote of thanks to our hosts, Mike and Pam, an excellent day.

Good to meet some "new" faces and re-new acquaintances with other members.

Not sure we left many genres untouched, I for one can't remember all that was played, but included Porcupine Tree, Foo Fighters, Supertramp, English Chorale, and some organ music.

backfromoz(David) had some unusual, selections, mainly singers with little or no accompaniment, perhaps he could supply a list.

Sometimes a choice forced  a change of listeners, and chats in the kitchen, or the organ "loft" ensued.

A good time had by all I reckon.

Where's the rest of the pictures?

Posted on: 14 May 2011 by Michael

Yes I had only the one successful picture as posted.... I think we were all so busy chatting and listening not many pics were actually taken...but if any of the other guys have any please let's see them!
