I'm experimenting with speaker balance set at -1 or -2 (left channel) as domestic considerations dictate listening position very slightly right of centre - works for me, wondering if you find using balance detrimental to sq?

No, I'm not trying to be funny when I say this but it only seems to shift balance. I cannot detect any problems whatsoever with sound quality and every time I use my record player I set it at -1 because there is an imbalance problem with my set up.

Entry level Naim products come with no balance control. Why would Naim install a function on higher level gear that is detrimental to sq? The balance control, if needed, is there to improve sq.
