New Radio Paradise App

Don't know if anyone else has spotted/tried this yet, but I finally read the 'Whats New' blurb in App Store after having downloaded the latest version a while back.

Basically it allows you to cache up to 12 hours of RP programming to your phone/iPod/tablet while using your home (or wherever) wi-fi for playing on your travels, ie. not being connected to the Internet and using your data allowance on your phone / tablet.

(touch the cloud icon to get more details - took me a while to work it out!)

I cached a couple of hours today on my iPod which I then connected to / played in my car.

It worked a treat, and its great to have RP for listening out and about.

Also available for Android users, so for all RP lovers, everyone's a winner

Thanks Chris I hadn't spotted this. It just so happens that I will be away this weekend so a few hours of RP will be a useful option to have on the iThings.

I'm so glad I bothered to read the What's New blurb otherwise I wouldn't have realised what the little cloud icon meant.

I actually thought it was something to do with the weather........

Anyway, enjoy it Stevee_S!

I was at a fun 4th of July party and 2 couples were talking about music, I mentioned RP, they didn't know it.  The man found it on his phone and then popped it into the owners sound system.  Not sure many noticed thru all the talk, but there were some very happy campers up on the deck finding a new source of great material without those awful commercials.  I encouraged them to give some $5 each month like I do.
