ND5 XS - Wow !!

Made a trip to my friendly dealer today to discuss streaming and a ND5XS came home with me on trial. All I can say is Wow... That is one impressive piece of kit. incredibly easy to setup, most difficult thing was remembering how to re-program the input on my SuperNait. Connected to Asset UPnP seamlessly. Now listening to some amazing music. What it is bringing out of standard Cd rips is stunning. Only downer is my ancient iPod touch won't support nStream, but driving it it from the front panel is a breeze.

Chord Hugo is less expensive than the external PSU and will bring far superior improvements in sound quality.

Oh, so totally agree! The SQ from this XS series product is nothing short of amazing at the price point. Resolution and vitality in abundance, it brings new life to music that previously simply didn't work for me. Now I can understand what the composer intended.

If you have any problem with interference conducted in on the mains supply or via EM transmission, then some care with RFI protection will yield even more SQ.

Look… you've only had the ND5 for a few days and already the forum is trying to up-sell you on fancy power supplies and external dacs. HiFi… the most dangerous game.

I was going to agree with Kevin's post and then I saw his follow up

Enjoy that ND5XS and get to know it well ..

And when or if you get that itch that really needs scratching, as the others say, the Hugo can be a very satisfying remedy.
