Well they're not Hi-Fi but they have a whole lotta soul!

138 tracks on the 6 CD set and for us vinyl addicts a cut down 3 LP set.

Looking forward to it.

The vinyl will contain only a fraction of what is on the CDs. As the SQ won't be brilliant by the very nature of the recording I guess I'll go for the CD edition and rip it. There'll be 5-6 hours of Dylan on those discs.

This will be good to have. I was always somewhat confused when the official LPs came out in 1975 and differed so much from the Little White Wonder bootleg of a few years earlier.

1967 Dylan in lofi is more worthwhile than most recordings.

Just saw this on Amazon for £110.90. Someone's having a laugh!

early last summer I saw the MoFi releases of Dylan & Band, I bought almost every one, haven't listened to most of them.  We had a great June/July in Los Angeles but mid August was too hot I retreated to my bedroom and AC then took a trip,  Just last week we hit beautiful fall weather so I'll get out the Basement Tapes and try to go thru them in order.  I'm sure for Stones fans that's a rich cash to mine.

Has anyone actually bought this? I would be interested in comments/opinions about the content before spending 145€ (which is the price in the local store for 6 CD set).

That's too much for 6 CDs IMO. I never bought either the CD nor vinyl.

It sounded good on vinyl at the Classic Album Sunday event at The Bag O'Nails event in October.

Looking forward to receiving my order, on vinyl.

Please report back when you have received your copy. I am actually not too worried about the sound quality, these are basement tapes after all The question for me really is if the material is interesting enough (e.g. the alternate takes differ from each other).
