n-serve won't find my HDX

I have been using n-serve successfully for a couple of years, but I had to replace my router. Now n-serve won't discover my HDX. Is it that my IP address is fixed on the HDX and needs resetting to DHCP? If that is what I need to do can someone explain (simply) how I reset the IP address to DHCP

I don't think reverting to DHCP should be necessary, and it may cause other connectivity issues later. The first thing I would try is to turn off ALL wifi devices you have. Then turn them on one at a time, starting with the router, then the HDX, then the nstream device, waiting until each one is fully awake before starting the next.

Setting the HDX to get its address via dhcp is simply done through the menu on the machine. Rather than do that, just set the IP in the router and set it to match in the HDX. Once that's all done, kill the app by swiping it off the screen, restart and it should all work.
