i think the small print on so many legal documents is beyond a joke. You buy a car,sell your house and worst of all take out travel insurance and you get umpteen pages of small print. IMHO its about time some sort of law was introduced where all these documents  were in clear and simple terms so Mista average can read and understand.

But those laws are in place already. Hence all the T&C's and Key Facts.

 

The consumer's propensity to complain if they are unhappy means that every firm examines its complaints history and then points out the nature of those facts previously complained about in those very documents.

 

Can't really blame a company for providing this detail for clarity. The fact that in the name of clarity (and complying with legislation) these things seem to be anything but, isn't always the fault of the provider...
