Unitiserve and UPnP

i am using an early 1tb Unitiserve which plays directly to my nDAC using a coax cable. This is all working fine, but recently i started to dabble with upnp. What I would like to be able to do is send the same music that is playing through my nDAC and into the main system, via upnp to other rooms or the patio outside (wi if signal is strong enough there).

I recently bought an iPhone upnp app which can see and play all the files on the US - this in itself amazed me, I didn't expect it to work, and have little idea what I am doing with the set up of such things !

So....is there any way to send the same music as the nDAC to the iPhone's upnp application ?

Paul what you're asking about, I think, is simultaneously playing the same music in a variety of locations. This is often called 'multi-room' playback. This is not supported per se by the UnitiServe. It is supported on a limited basis by some of the Naim players -- I encourage you to read up on it here. But if you're trying to duplicate the multi-room capabilities of Sonos, the answer is no.

Thanks Bart, helpful as ever. Hadn't realized that Naim called it multi-room, I now see they classify their products with this feature on the website.
