Upgrade UnitiQute 24/96 to 24/192 Still Available in US?
Posted by: Brubacca on 22 October 2014
Title says it all.
is Naim still offering the DAC upgrade to 24/192?
Anyone know price?
My dealer didn't think so.
Check with Audio Plus Services, the North American distributor; all 96 kHz-capable UnitiQute devices should be able to accept the 192 kHz hardware update without a significant amount of hassle; the same cannot be said for NaimUniti models, some of which (if using an older analogue iPod-style connection) may require a few extra steps.

You might reach out to Chris West of AVOptions, the authorized US repair facility for Naim. You can Google them up. Chris does post here occasionally. 5-star service from AVOptions. (5 is the most I ever give.)
It is still a current upgrade ... your dealer should be able to find out pricing for you if they contact the distributors. (Or contact Chris West of AV Options as has also been suggested.)

I have found that going right to Chris is the most efficient route. I can ask my dealer . . . who has to ask the distributor . . . who has to get back to the dealer . . . who has to get back to me. Or I can email Chris, or phone him up, and get the answer first-hand in a business day or less from the folks who will do the work.
As said, this is still current.
Dealers can just order the kits from us. We keep a few in stock.
This update should be done by your dealer. The kit includes very details instructions.
If you prefer the job to be done by a certified service center, contact Chris, or us.
