nStream/Naim App - adds firsts track of album to last position in queue

Posted by: EnataiDan on 27 October 2014

I've noticed recently that the first track of every album in my library is greyed out and the app won't load it in order to the play queue.  When I "play now" on an the album, it puts the first track at the end of the queue list (all other tracks are in the correct order).  I am able to select the greyed out track and play by itself, but that defeats the purpose of playing an entire album.

I can view the tracks fine and play them in the correct order using another UPnP app (Synology's DS Audio).

Anyone else have this and offer how to resolve?

Technical details:

Version 4.1 of the nstream/naim app

NDX player with firmware 3.22

Player hard wired Ethernet to Synology NAS

Apple Lossless files managed in iTunes folder structure

flac files from HD Tracks in separate folder

It's a well reported problem with the new app

There is not fix at the moment other than starting the album by touching the 1st line of the track listing, not the 3 dots. It's expected to be fixed in the next app release.
