Playing Classical Albums - new Naim App

Posted by: Stephen Pritchard on 05 November 2014

Hi all

Is there a definitive way to play all the tracks in the correct order?

I don't mind starting with track 2 on my contemporary and jazz collection as I normally shuffle my music but with classical stuff its is frustrating.

I'm sure I saw somewhere a feed that found a way around this problem - but can't locate it.

Any help out there?

re-order the tracks with T1 in T2s place.

Two workarounds as far as I know:

1. Select "queue next" from the option menu (3 dots or whatever) and then play the album from the play queue.

2. Simply tap once on the first track title (not on the 3 dots) after opening the album.

Yes - all you need to do is tap the first track on the list and it will all load in the right order.

Thanks all for your suggestions ...

The simple tap - must modify my ham-fisted approach!

BTW if you queue up a second album using the 'queue last' option while one is already in the play queue it will load into the play queue in the correct order.
