Blu ray replacement for DVD 5?

Hi, this is my first post (yes, sad isn`t it!!?)

I currently use a DVD5 via component to a panasonic projector, does anybody know of a Blu ray player that is better? It has to be via component as my projector only has a non- HDCP compliant DVI-D input. Unless of coure, anybody knows of a work around on the HDCP thing?
