Experiences with analekta.com?

Has anyone bought from analekta.com? It is a Canadian classical label and web shop and they have a Beethoven symphony cycle with Kent Nagano and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal which I'm interested in.

So far it looks legit to me but their web shop seems a bit broken: Apparently they are unable to send emails upon account creation and password recovery. Did anyone experience the same thing?

No problems with Analekta here. I've bought from them in the past. I haven't visited their site in while, so on seeing your post, I logged in and, having forgotten my password, requested a new one, which I received in seconds. All seems OK.

There is also Atma records, another Canadian company started by a CBC recording engineer. Many wonderful recordings and performances, with 'studio master' downlands (24/96) at a very reasonable CDN $17.

Hi Jan,

Strange, I tried it with two email addresses from two different providers, but received no registration confirmation etc. I'm located in Germany, perhaps this makes a difference?

However, I decided to buy the symphonies nevertheless. Checkout worked OK (but no order confirmation per email) and download too. 6GB are now safely on disk.
