Could someone explain how to set up the "Unity Gain" on the "AV" input of the NAC202 using a AV2 using its DIN reverse lead  please, i know that there are some explanations but they seem to go from here to there thankyou.

I posted this faq in January.  Basically, just follow the instructions.

"to switch on Unity gain once you're in program mode, you need to press the Mute button twice. Then exit program mode."

I thankyou for your reply i eventually found it by not actually reading all the blurb and looking at a section of the actions when certain button sequences are pressed by model, again many thanks.

No problems v_j_r

I took me a few searches before i could find and quote that reply from Richard Dane. The manual does a great of job of making something simple, almost impossible to understand. Well, to me anyway!

Cheers,

Rack.

Ah.  Sorry.  I obviously misunderstood your question.  My 282 was delivered and connected into my AV system by the dealer.  Can't find anything in the manual about altering the AV/Unity Gain Input, so I am grateful that rackkit has answered your question.

Yes if you disregard the all the reading and schroll down there is a graph showing by most models the effects on each by button press seqeunce, tis so much easier to understand!.
