spotify for existing users...when??

As I understand it, existing equipment cannot be upgraded to include Bluetooth connectivity. Spotify Connect integration is currently in beta testing, so likely to be available soon.

But I do understand the Spotify Connect software is shipping on new NDXs at least, so although we are told technically in Beta,  I would have thought a late Beta if it's currently shipping. I also understand this software has been available as prototype for many months... But some sort of discussion between Naim and Spotify due to internal changes in the Spotify organisation required it to be delayed... So,fingers crossed should be well baked when the rest of us see it.

So what will this enable you to do exactly, say if you have a unitiqute? I got one today you see, so far I am loving it so cool!! Will you be bake to control spotify from the naim app? Please say yes! Will round off a perfect hifi system!

It integrates Spotify into the Naim app and allows you to control basic functions from within the app, or to use Spotify as per normal but with the sound coming from your qute

That will be perfect then, excellent.  Will pretty much mean the UnitiQute ticks all the boxes!

When are we thinking this is likely to materialise?

The servers won't have Spotify Connect added to them ... they wouldn't comply with Spotify's very tight rules on the hardware that Connect is allowed to run on.
