Already looks better than the last three flicks...

Wouldn't be difficult to better episodes 1-3, but with Disney now in charge any chance of a meaningful film seems pretty slim unfortunately.
It would seem it will be a looker though. All those ILM (or whoever) computers working O/T.
Not so sure, Maleficent, Lone Ranger, Oz, Frankenweenie(!) suggests they can do it...
Disney or not, this is still a 'must see' movie. The theme tune alone at cinema volumes is enough to generate excitement. Those looking for serious story lines etc should look elsewhere. Just accept Stars Wars for what it is: great entertainment for all ages.
Any idea of the plot?
I don't go to see Star Wars expecting Hamlet. I expect a hero I can root for, a villain I can boo, and a visual spectacle.
Looks good so far.

Err...isn't the original Star Wars plotline referenced to The Prince of Denmark? Albeit a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...By which thought we can determine Shakespeare was a plagiarist and George Lucas a visionary. Although we knew that already right?
A new John Williams Star Wars score is always going to be a treat. Trailer looks a lot more promising than Phantom Menace's did in 1999.

The plot summary in tbe IMDB site is blank.
From the teaser trailer and film title it appears to me as the resurgence of the dark side. The character towards the end of teaser with the 'light sword' looks interesting , as is the storm trooper who do not like a cloan of Boba Fett. Strangely though Princess Leah looks as youngas she did in episode 3.
One year is too long to wait
