Muso Stuck in Firmware Update

Posted by: Wazza69 on 29 November 2014

Hi,

I connected to my Muso via a browser while trying to resolve a no upnp server issue. I accidentally clicked the firmware update page. The page gives you an option to upload new firmware but no way to exit the firmware update page and now my Muso is stuck in firmware update mode and can't be used. The manual advises not to turn off or reset in this mode. Closing the browser, using a different browser takes you straight back to the firmware page.

Has anyone had this and managed to resolve it?

Thanks

Don't worry I managed to resolve this via the Naim Support desk. I was mainly asking here as I needed to get it running for a party tonight and assumed Naim only had the old support model and wouldn't be available until Monday. I thought I would call them anyway and was surprised to discover a full support desk model in place rather than Sheila in Repairs!

They sent me another copy of the current firmware to install

Is there new firmware-and as of which date?  Are updates done via a browser-and wirelessly?  Finally what does the new firmware address?

It was a reinstall of the current firmware to sort my unit rather that a new one

I am experiencing a similar problem, but it stopped half way through the update and now it is dead, no lights no nothing. Can anyone give me some advise please ?

hi were you updating the app (android) or the muso itself?

With all the flashing lights i think it was updating the mu-so, but i realise now it didn't need updating.
