Amazon Price tracker CamelCamelCamel

I know a lot of folks buy box sets and bigger ticket items from Amazon.  If you are in the UK, US or Canada (there other countries listed below) the following site will give you the price trends. Especially useful for items that have been out a few months+.  I think if you join you can get email alerts etc, but for free you can use the info by just copying in the URL of the item.

No affiliation, just damn handy, especially when 'sales' are on and you can see if they really are a deal.

It's great - used it for a while now as Amazon prices can fluctuate quite rapidly and it's very handy to catch some of Amazons temporary price drops. It saved me £230 recently on a camera and Amazon kindly credited me a further £120 when it dropped in price again a day later before returning very quickly to full price - so a £350 saving overall.

Very handy.

What a great idea - thanks for the heads up. Amazon has become increasingly capricious with its pricing (especially of vinyl) recently so this is a valuable tool in the value-seeker's armoury.
