Yep input is enabled.... I get to the Play screen on the Naim app and it says Launch Spotify app... from there it goes to Spotify... selected a track to play and click on the speaker icon bottom right.. It says Connect lets you play and control.........

Beneath that is listed the Nexus 7 that the naim and spotify are running on and also my PC that has spotify on.... No ND5 shown :-(

Is it possible that you've got more than one network, and the ND5 is on a different one?

UPnP via the Naim app works so nexus 7 and ND5 (and NAS) must be on the same network.. I'm starting to loose my rag with it now :-(

Connected via USB? Yes? Have you installed the driver for USB?

The only problem I can find is that when choosing to play a different album/track the art work/track name and seconds stay as the previously played music, this is on both iPhone 5s and iPad, if I click on the speaker and change to play from iPhone r ipad the artwork changes instantly to what's playing,  I have deleted and reinstalled the app, this may not be a problem with Naim but it may just be a bug

What OS? I'm using Win7 Home... Also reboot PC after installing the drivers. Then connect Naim. Then run install programme. When it comes to the how connected screen mine shows COM3 as the option.

You can with Spotify Beta. It looks like that functionality will come to non-beta early in 2015.

Downloaded the beta, and working great. Thank you.

Seconded - I can finally use my laptop to control the Uniti2 whilst working. Xmas has come early!

4.1 all working here ok... And my Spotfy premium coming through ok.. I was expecting to see the Spotify track artwork come through into Nstream/Naim app from the Spotfy app itself.. Instead I just see a generic Spotify logo within the Naim app. I assume that is what everyone else sees? I query this as my car (BMW)'show the Spotify artwork on the car's central display when playing from the Spotify app.

Hurrah, it's finally here. A few of us have been testing the new firmware over the past few weeks, and have been through five or six versions over that time, ironing out issues and suggesting improvements. Hopefully everyone will find it bug free. We've certainly tested it to destruction!

So you start the Streamer Updater... it goes to the Connection Check screen. If you click the down arrow on the Select serial Port to Use list what is shown?

Ok, thanks, that's a shame, perhaps one for the future enhancements list then. I do like that feature on other vendor products using Spotify.

Longmanjon,
I have the same issue as yourself. It says no drivers found for device. It then asks to insert disc that came with device. As there is obviously not one I am now stuck.A trip to my dealer is on the cards I think.

I'm trying to figure out how the drivers aren't working for you... Did you install x86 or x64?

Mine is poop :-( Stuttering. I get about 15 seconds and then it stutters. I've tried minimum quality and no change. I know my broadband is bad but heck not that bad.... Normal iRadio channels are fine so it must be a spotify thing. So iRadio goes direct to the ND5... Does spotify come to the Nexus and then back out to the ND5?
