computer audiophile site not accessible

Posted by: Douglass on 17 December 2014

Hi,  one of my favourite sites for information about all things digital is Computer Audiophile. However, in the last couple of weeks I can't access the site from my phone,  tablet or Pc. It appears to link to the site but nothing is seen,  just a blank white page.  I assume it's something to do with my settings and not the site. Has anybody experienced this and if so how do I resolve this?

Thanks

Still works here today but haven't been on it for a long time.

Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies and then trying again?

If you have can you give us some details of what Browser you are using and also Malware software?

Thanks,  I will try clearing out cookies etc first. I am using Chrome or Firefox as a browser.     But tried IE on my works laptop and that did work. I'll post back soon.

Hi, thanks for your responses. I tried the link from my phone and no joy.  Must be something going on with my phone and tablet software. I am using Avast security app as well, don't know if that's playing a part?

Hi again, sorted it! When I hit the blank page again I selected settings and noticed 'request desktop site' was not ticked. When I did this the site popped up. I swear I never changed the setting O still I am up and running. Thanks for the responses

Glad you found the cause. Usually it is always something simple.
