System Pics 2015
Posted by: hungryhalibut on 21 December 2014

It's the 21st of December, so it's time for the new System Pics thread.
The SuperUniti and UnitiServe are the same as last year, but the Hutter rack and PMC twenty.23s are new.
Thank you, from one Dr to another. Good value speakers too...

Yeah, I have never heard the SL2s, but if they are SBL upgrades then I am pretty sure I would like them!
I think your electronics would drive my D-28s just fine...and would be a decent match as well.
It is a 100 inch Ambertec screen that I pull down when watching movies and sports.
Congratulations on the rugby and your fab room.
I note from your profile that you have a blu ray player and home cinema amp. Are they in a cupboard or another room?
Keith
They are diagonally opposite the Naim Fraim on a Sound Organisation stand.
No way you would over-sleep.....

That looks pretty serious!
Not sure how I feel about those Vivid speakers for looks, but I bet it all sounds wonderful, and I really like your second system; interesting combo putting a 252 with a 150...I'd like to hear more about that both sonically and how you came to that choice.
Another Stands Unique rack at long last. I thought that I was the only one. I can remember the days when Stands Unique got five stars from what hi-fi.

The 2nd system began as my initial aim amplification 112/FC/150 but as the upgrades have come everything has been shunted along, the 112/FC are boxed and the 252/SC have been relegated to the bedroom. i've not bought another power amp since the 300 so my poor little 150 survives to this day. It doesn't do a bad job of powering the Harbeths but im sure they miss the 300 - a lot
theres definitely a loss of muscle missing but sonically there remains everything i loved about harbeth and NAIM together. It really deserves a better space to shine but tis great for weekend morning radio sessions whilst returning from slumberland.

aaah looks great, Ive always loved them. Went so far as to buy another main stand a few years back just to get more glass shelving for the ever increasing box count.
